I'm' fortunate that in...Great post, Donna!<br /><br />I'm' fortunate that in Canada, we (the LGBT) community have more rights and privileges, and legal recourse than our brothers and sisters in the US (and other countries) do, such as national gay marriage laws, same-sex adoption laws, laws surrounding inheritance taxes, spousal benefits, national & provincial employment/housing anti-discrimination laws, etc.<br /><br />That sometimes still does not stop the hatred against the community at times.
